A special deluxe edition of the Ramone’s third LP ‘Rocket to Russia’ is set to be released on November 24th by Rhino.

The reissue will include two different mixes of the album, including a wealth of previously unreleased material: An early verision of “Needles And Pins” an alternate version of “Needles And Pins,” an alternate version of “It’s A Long Way Back to Germany” with Dee Dee on vocals, an original radio promo with Joey Ramone and versions of “Why is It Always That Way” and “Ramona” with alternate lyrics.

and if that wasn’t enough the release also includes an entire disc dedicated to a previously unreleased concert the band gave at the Apollo Centre in Glasgow, Scotland back on December 19th, 1977.

The Album ‘Rocket to Russia’ was the group’s second most successful album on the Billboard 200 , peaking at number 49 with the tracks “Sheena Is a Punk Rocker,” “Rockaway Beach” and “Do You Wanna Dance” charting on the Hot 100, the only three Ramone’s tracks to achieve that distinction.
